CRIM CD-CELL PHONE FIREARMS                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961. Provides that it is a  Class  4      
   felony  to  manufacture, sell, transfer, purchase, possess, or carry a      
   firearm in the shape or design of a wireless telephone. Provides that       
   the provisions do not apply to or affect the sale to or possession of       
   a firearm in the shape of a wireless telephone by a peace officer.          
          CORRECTIONAL NOTE (Department of Corrections)                        
          Fiscal impact and impact on the corrections population would         
          be minimal.
