GO BOND ACT-REDUCTION-TECH                                                 

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the General Obligation Bond Act  by  reducing  by  $1  the      
   total  amount  of  General Obligation Bonds authorized under this Act.      
   Effective July 1, 2001.                                                     
          STATE DEBT NOTE (Economic and Fiscal Commission)                     
          SB 245 would decrease by $1 the total amount of General              
          Obligation bonds the State is authorized to issue, sell,             
          and retire.
