For supplemental general State aid calculation purposes, provides that if a high school district can demonstrate that the census tract assigned by the most recent federal census was incorrect, the district's low-income eligible pupil count from the earlier federal census shall be the number used as the low-income eligible pupil count for the district. Effective July 1, 2001. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes everything after the enacting clause. For supplemental general State aid calculation purposes, provides that if a high school district within 2 counties and serving 5 elementary school districts, whose boundaries are coterminous with the high school district, has a percentage decrease from the 2 most recent federal censuses in the low-income eligible pupil count and there is a percentage increase in the total low-income eligible pupil count of a majority of the elementary school districts in excess of 50% from the 2 most recent federal censuses, then the high school district's low-income eligible pupil count from the earlier federal census shall be the number used as the low-income eligible pupil count for the district. Provides for recomputation of State aid for the high school district beginning with fiscal year 1994. Effective July 1, 2001.
