Provides that Medicaid coverage of persons with disabilities who are employed and eligible for Medicaid under federal law may not begin before January 1, 2002. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 305 ILCS 5/5-2 Adds reference to: 20 ILCS 2405/13a from Ch. 23, par. 3444a 105 ILCS 5/14-3.05 new 105 ILCS 5/14-8.03 from Ch. 122, par. 14-8.03 405 ILCS 80/Art. 10 heading new 405 ILCS 80/10-5 new 405 ILCS 80/10-10 new 405 ILCS 80/10-15 new Deletes everything. Amends the Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Act and the School Code. Provides that the name and affiliation of each local Transition Planning Committee member and the annual report that assesses the level of currently available services in the community and the level of unmet needs of secondary students with disabilities shall be filed with the administrative office of each school district served by the Committee and made available to the public upon request. Requires the State Board of Education to contract with an entity to conduct a longitudinal study over 5 years of the post-school experiences of children with disabilities who exit high schools in this State in 2001. In the Section of the School Code concerning transition goals, supports, and services for children with disabilities, changes references from an individualized education program to an individualized education plan. Makes other changes. Amends the Developmental Disability and Mental Disability Services Act. Creates a workforce task force for persons with disabilities, and directs the task force to develop recommendations and an implementation plan to address certain issues affecting persons with disabilities in relation to employment. Also directs the task force to conduct a longitudinal study of the outcomes that secondary education programs have for students with disabilities after exiting the secondary school environment.
