Requires an employer to provide reasonable unpaid break time each day to an employee who needs to express breast milk for her infant child. Requires an employer to make reasonable efforts to provide a room or other location, in close proximity to the work area, other than a toilet stall, where the employee can express her milk in privacy. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes language holding an employer harmless from any liability for failure to provide a location in close proximity to the work area, other than a toilet stall, where an employee can express her milk in privacy if the employer has made a reasonable effort to provide such a location.
