Makes a technical change in the statute concerning the unlawful sale of firearms. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Adds reference to: 720 ILCS 5/24-1 from Ch. 38, par. 24-1 Amends provisions of the Criminal Code of 1961 prohibiting the carrying of a concealed firearm, the carrying of a functional or immediately accessible firearm in a vehicle, or the carrying of a firearm upon public lands in a municipality. Provides that it is an affirmative defense to this violation that the person who possessed the firearm had an order of protection issued against another person.
