Creates the Medicaid Buy-In Program Revolving Fund, to be held by the Department of Public Aid to receive individuals' buy-in premiums, federal moneys, and other moneys paid to the Department pursuant to the Medicaid Buy-In Program. Requires that moneys in the Fund be spent to pay for medical assistance benefits provided to participants in the Medicaid Buy-In Program. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Adds reference to: 30 ILCS 105/5.545 new Deletes everything. Amends the State Finance Act and the Illinois Public Aid Code. Creates the Medicaid Buy-In Program Revolving Fund as a special fund in the State treasury to consist of cost-sharing pay- ments made by individuals pursuant to the Medicaid Buy-In Program. Provides that moneys in the fund shall be appropriated to the Depart- ment of Public Aid to pay the costs of administering that program, in- cluding payments for Medicaid benefits provided to program partici- pants. Deletes a provision concerning Department of Public Aid rules with respect to amounts that may be spent for particular purposes from moneys in the Medicaid Buy-In Program Revolving Fund.
