CIV PRO-CLASS ACTIONS                                                      

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Code  of  Civil  Procedure.  Deletes  all  existing       
   provisions   concerning  class  actions  and  inserts  new  provisions      
   concerning  prerequisites  to  class  actions,  maintenance  of  class      
   actions,  notice,  judgment,  other  orders,  dismissal,   compromise,      
   discovery, and appeals. Effective immediately.
