Short description: 
GOV DUTIES-VARIOUS                                                         

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act, the Counties Code,  the  School      
   Code,  the  Coal  Mining  Act,  and the Illinois Diseased Animals Act.      
   Removes the requirement that the  Governor's  recommendations  to  the      
   General  Assembly  on  the  termination  or continuation of regulatory      
   agencies and programs be part of  the  Governor's  even-numbered  year      
   budget  submission.   Requires  a  county to obtain approval for sewer      
   projects involving State  land  from  the  appropriate  State  agency,      
   rather  than  the  Governor,  and  that  such  approval be in writing.      
   Designates the last Friday in April, rather than a day  proclaimed  by      
   the Governor, as Arbor and Bird Day.  Designates the first full school      
   week  in  May,  rather  than  a  week  proclaimed  by the Governor, as      
   Illinois Law Week.   Removes the requirement that the Governor approve      
   the appraisal of diseased animals whose slaughter results in  a  claim      
   for  reimbursement from the State.  Removes the requirement that State      
   mine inspectors provide bonds approved by the Governor.   Repeals  the      
   Small Business Tax Policy Act.  Effective immediately.
