UNEMPLOYMENT INS-BASE PERIOD                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Unemployment Insurance  Act.   Provides  that  certain      
   wages  "shall  not  be included in the base period".  Makes changes in      
   the definition of "base period" for certain  employees.   Makes  other      
   changes  in  provisions  concerning  the  definition of "base period".      
   Effective immediately.
