PROCURE CD-POLICY-TECH                                                     

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Procurement Code by making a technical change      
   to the policy Section.                                                      
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          30 ILCS 500/1-5                                                      
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          30 ILCS 500/30-25                                                    
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Illinois  Procurement  Code.   In      
   construction  contracts, makes the provisions permitting retention and      
   establishing the contents of  retention  trust  agreements  applicable      
   only  to  contracts  entered  into  by  the Capital Development Board.      
   Provides that the retention  percentage  may  not  exceed  5%  of  the      
   contract price.
