NITROGEN OXIDE EMISSIONS                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Urges the United States Congress and the United States Environ-        
   mental Protection Agency to increase Illinois' nitrogen oxide emission      
   allowance budget.                                                           
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Adds a statement that Illinois must work to ensure that suffi-         
   cient nitrogen oxide emission credits are available for generating          
   sources utilizing clean coal technologies.
