AN ACT concerning civil law.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act |
is amended by adding Section 14.3 as follows:

Sec. 14.3. Water supply requirement. If exigent |
circumstances arise, the park owner is responsible for |
providing a water supply to each household. The amount shall |
be determined based on the lower-range quantity of water |
needed for survival, per person, pursuant to the World Health |
Organization's guidelines. The park owner shall provide water |
following a 3-day period in which the normal supply of water is |
disrupted, and shall provide water for as long as the |
disruption in water service continues. |
This Section does not apply if the disruption of water |
service originates from factors outside the control of the |
mobile home park.
