AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding |
Section 56.3 as follows:

(5 ILCS 460/56.3 new) |
Sec. 56.3. Official State mushroom. The mushroom calvatia |
gigantea, commonly known as the "giant puffball", is |
designated the official State mushroom of the State of |
Illinois.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law. |
