AN ACT concerning aging.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Family Caregiver Act is amended by changing |
Section 25 as follows:

Sec. 25. Provision of services. The Department shall |
contract with area agencies on aging and other appropriate |
agencies to conduct family caregiver support services to the |
extent of available State and federal funding. Services |
provided under this Act must be provided according to the |
requirements of State and federal law and rules, except for |
the provision of services to grandparents or older individuals |
who are relative caregivers when State funding is utilized to |
provide those services. |
