    AN ACT concerning health care facilities.

    Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section  5.   The  Hospital  Licensing  Act is amended by
adding Section 6.14e as follows:

    (210 ILCS 85/6.14e new)
    Sec. 6.14e.  Storage and transfer of patient records.  If
a facility closes due to insolvency or for any other  reason,
the  facility  must  notify  the Department where the patient
records are stored or transferred.
