    AN ACT concerning local government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:

    (55 ILCS 5/3-5039 rep.)
    (55 ILCS 5/3-5040 rep.)
    (55 ILCS 5/3-5041 rep.)
    (55 ILCS 5/3-5042 rep.)
    (55 ILCS 5/3-5043 rep.)
    (55 ILCS 5/3-5044 rep.)
    Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by repealing
Sections 3-5039, 3-5040, 3-5041, 3-5042, 3-5043, and 3-5044.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
