AN ACT concerning State government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding |
Sections 85 and 90 as follows:
|
(5 ILCS 460/85 new) |
Sec. 85. State amphibian. The amphibian Ambystoma |
tigrinum, commonly known as the "Eastern Tiger Salamander", is |
designated the official State amphibian of the State of |
Illinois.

(5 ILCS 460/90 new) |
Sec. 90. State reptile. The reptile Chrysemys picta, |
commonly known as the "Painted Turtle", is designated the |
official State reptile of the State of Illinois.
