AN ACT in relation to taxes.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
This Act may be cited as the
Park District Tax Levy Validation (2010) Act.
Tax levy ordinances of the Summit Park District.
If the Summit Park District has, during the fiscal year
2010-2011, within the time required by law adopted an annual
appropriation ordinance for that year and adopted its annual
tax levy ordinance for the tax year 2010 and duly files the
same with the county clerk of the county in which the district
is located, then any such tax levy ordinance and the taxes
levied and extended pursuant thereto are hereby validated;
however, those taxes are validated only to the extent they do
not exceed the maximum amount the district could have levied
and the county clerk could have extended under the Property Tax
Extension Limitation Law if the Park District had taken into

The Property Tax Code is amended by adding
