AN ACT concerning business.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Payday Loan Reform Act is amended by adding |
Section 2-51 as follows:

(815 ILCS 122/2-51 new) |
Sec. 2-51. Violation of Federal law constitutes a violation |
of this Act with respect to practices concerning members of the |
military and their dependents. Notwithstanding any other |
provision of law, a violation of any provision of Section 670 |
of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for |
Fiscal Year 2007, Public Law 109-364, or any regulation adopted |
pursuant thereto shall be deemed to be a violation of this Act.
