AN ACT concerning criminal law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding |
Section 8.56 as follows:
|
(30 ILCS 105/8.56 new) |
Sec. 8.56. Motorcycle-only roadside checkpoints. A law |
enforcement agency of this State or a political subdivision of |
this State may not accept federal funding the purpose of which |
is to establish motorcycle-only roadside checkpoints.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
