AN ACT concerning State government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by |
adding Section 4.16 as follows:

Sec. 4.16. Integrated mental health services. Subject to |
appropriations, the Department on Aging may provide grants to |
public and private nonprofit entities for projects that |
demonstrate ways to integrate mental health services for older |
adults into primary health care settings, such as federally |
qualified health centers as defined in Section 1905 (1) (2) (B) |
of the Social Security Act, primary care clinics, and private |
practice sites. The Department may adopt any rules necessary to |
implement this Section.
