AN ACT concerning health.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by adding |
Section 4.6 as follows:
|
(225 ILCS 10/4.6 new) |
Sec. 4.6. Vaccination requirements for employees. No |
person may be employed by a child care facility that cares for |
children ages 6 and under unless that person shows proof of |
having received: (i) one dose of the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, |
and pertussis) vaccine; and (ii) 2 doses of the measles, mumps, |
and rubella (MMR) vaccine or shows proof of immunity to MMR.
