AN ACT concerning local government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Cook County Forest Preserve District Act is |
amended by changing Section 8.4 as follows:

Sec. 8.4. Rules and regulations governing construction |
Building codes. All codes, rules, and regulations which govern |
land use, construction, and alteration of buildings, |
structures, parts, and appurtenances thereof adopted by the |
county board of the county in which the district is located The |
building codes of a county, and not the
building codes of any |
other unit of local government in which the affected
district
|
property is located, shall apply to all construction projects |
on property owned
by the district. The codes, rules, and |
regulations of any other unit of local government, other than a |
county, in which the affected district property is located do |
not apply to construction projects on property owned by the |
district.
