AN ACT concerning State government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State Agency Web Site Act is amended by |
changing Section 5 and by adding Section 20 as follows:
|

Sec. 5. Definitions. As used in this Act:
|
"Cookie" means a set of computer data or instructions that |
is placed on a
consumer's computer by a Web site server to |
collect or store information about
the
consumer.
|
"State agencies" has the meaning given to that term in |
Section 1-7 of the
Illinois State Auditing Act.
|
"License" means any license, certification, registration, |
or permit issued by an executive branch State agency, except |
for a driver's license, State identification card, or vehicle |
registration issued by the Secretary of State or any license |
issued by the State Board of Elections. |
