AN ACT concerning education.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended by |
adding Section 3-29.11 as follows:

(110 ILCS 805/3-29.11 new) |
Sec. 3-29.11. Southwestern Illinois College dual credit |
program. Notwithstanding any provisions of this Act to the |
contrary, East St. Louis School District 189 is encouraged to |
allow students in grades 11 and 12 to take classes at |
Southwestern Illinois College for dual credit at no cost to the |
student.
