AN ACT concerning government.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
adding Section 12 as follows:
|
(5 ILCS 490/12 new) |
Sec. 12. Healthy Pet Month. The month of April of each year |
is designated as Healthy Pet Month to be observed throughout |
the State as a month in which all Illinois pet owners are |
encouraged to take time to review their pet's health needs and |
make arrangements with their veterinarians to have annual exams |
and evaluations performed to enhance and extend their pet's |
quality of life.
