    AN ACT concerning regulation.
 
    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
 
    Section 5. The Medical Practice Act of 1987 is amended by
changing Section 10 as follows:
 
    (225 ILCS 60/10)  (from Ch. 111, par. 4400-10)
    (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2022)
    Sec. 10. The Department shall:
        (A) make rules for establishing reasonable minimum
    standards of educational requirements to be observed by
    medical, osteopathic and chiropractic colleges;
        (B) effectuate the policy of the State of Illinois
    that the quality of medical training is an appropriate
    concern in the recruiting, licensing, credentialing and
    participation in residency programs of physicians.
    However, it is inappropriate to discriminate against any
    physician because of national origin or geographic
    location of medical education;
        (B-5) publish on its website information concerning
    the process for requesting a rehearing under Section 40
    and the process for restoring a license under Section 43
    after the successful completion of a term of probation,
    suspension, or revocation of a license; and
        (C) formulate rules and regulations required for the
    administration of this Act.
