Biography: Full-time state legislator; Former Legislative Coordinator in the Offices of the Cook County Bureau of Administration and the Secretary to the Board of Commissioners; Former Policy Advisor for Governor Pat Quinn; Former Deputy Director at the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice; Former District Director for Cook County Commissioner Stanley Moore and Illinois State Senator Kwame Raoul; B.A., Political Science, University of Chicago; Master's of Public Policy and Administration, Northwestern University; A native Chicagoan, Slaughter grew up on the South Side in the Washington Heights community where he currently still resides.
