HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the passing of
4Kathleen Marie "Kat" Moczek of Bristol, Wisconsin, who passed
5away on April 12, 2023; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Kathleen Moczek was born to Gerald and Alice
7(Gribbon) O'Connor in Chicago on July 12, 1959; she married
8Paul Moczek on September 8, 2001; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Kathleen Moczek was an avid gardener, tending to
10both her indoor and outdoor plants, and a bird watching
11enthusiast; she enjoyed her black Camaro, which was her dream
12car; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Kathleen Moczek was a beloved wife, mother,
14grandmother, and great-grandmother; she was known for being
15smart, kind, and willing to offer help to anyone in need; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Kathleen Moczek was preceded in death by her
17parents and her brothers, Thomas O'Connor and James O'Connor;
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, At the time of her passing, Kathleen Moczek was
20survived by her husband; her children, Tonya (Jay Hatton)

1Fuson, Justin Chase, and Zach (Jessica Gadke) Kenna; her
2grandchildren, Natasha (Joe) Switzer, Devon Dolengowski,
3Nicholas Gudgeon, Addison Hatton, Tessa Hatton, Cameron Kenna,
4Kaleb Kenna, Ryder Kenna, Kylie Schoop, Jackson Schoop, and
5Cassidy Chase; her great-grandchildren, Ava, Joey, Ella,
6Alice, and Charlie; and many additional family and friends;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
9HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
10we mourn the passing of Kathleen Marie "Kat" Moczek and extend
11our condolences to her family, friends and all who knew and
12loved her; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Kathleen Moczek as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
