SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Anton George "Tony" Sikorcin of Boynton Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 28, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin was born in Chicago to Anton and Julia on May 11, 1934; he served in the U.S. Army for four years; and

WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin founded Craftsman Tool & Mold Company in 1965, a manufacturing company that specializes in custom mold bases for the plastic injection industry; originally located in Franklin Park, it has since been relocated to Aurora and still thrives today; and

WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin was preceded in death by his daughter, Sue Schultz; and

WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin is survived by his loving wife, Ramona (Toni); his children, Shirley (Brian) Yagoda, Glenn (Tammy) Sikorcin, Wayne (Laura) Sikorcin, and (James) Schultz; his grandchildren, Kylie, Jared (Aubrey), Allyse, Dominique (Ryan), Tyler, Cheyenne, Luke, Abby, Emma, and Jack; his "adopted" granddaughter, Joan Bowen; his great-grandchild, Skylar; his sister, June (Dale) Tate; and his nieces, Lynda and Laurie Delaforgue; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Anton George "Tony" Sikorcin, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anton Sikorcin as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
