SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ronald L. Pacha of Bloomington, who passed away on January 16, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was born in Brighton, Iowa to Leonard and Margaret Pauly Pacha on September 26, 1940; he married Janice R. Deutsch in Pleasant Plain, Iowa on July 1, 1961; and

WHEREAS, Ron Pacha worked at Citizens Savings and Loan; and

WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington, where he served on the parish council and as a cantor; he was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus; he was a member of the Normal Chamber of Commerce, Normal Rotary Club, Young Men's Club and Optimist Club and was a Trustee for Normal Township; he was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears; in his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and attending their activities and events; and

WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Ron Pacha is survived by his wife, Janice; his children, Terri (David) Ashley, Ken (Christie) Pacha; and Angela (David) Auth; his grandchildren, Zachary (Jilliann) Pacha, Hilary Pacha, Christopher (Amanda) Ashley, Joshua (Alexis Bealer) Ashley, Allyson (fiance, Joey Clanton) Auth, and Brandon Auth; his great-grandchildren, Austin and Avery Pacha and Elijah Pacha; his other family, Lisa Pacha-Hardesty; and his nine brothers and sisters; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ronald L. Pacha and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ron Pacha as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
