SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Julie Biernacki Christiansen, who passed away on March 19, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Julie Christiansen was born in Chicago to Rosemary and Roger Biernacki on September 1, 1977; she graduated from Lake Park High School; she received her bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College and her master's degree from Aurora University; she married Jason Christiansen on June 17, 2000; and

WHEREAS, In 2000, Julie Christiansen started working in St. Charles at Wredling Middle School and coaching cheerleading at St. Charles East High School; and

WHEREAS, Julie Christiansen and her husband enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, and, watching Julie's cheerleaders at Friday night football games; and

WHEREAS, Julie Christiansen is survived by her mother, Rosemary; her father, Roger; her husband, Jason; her daughter, Aubrie; her brother, Brian (Donna); her nieces and nephews, Azelie, Blaise, Mark, Alex, Ella, Thomas, James, and Grace; and many other wonderful family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Julie Biernacki Christiansen, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Julie Christiansen as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
