| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | | 3 | | to learn of the death of Emma Jewel Reardon of Alsey, who | | 4 | | passed away on July 10, 2023; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Emma Reardon was born to Justin Reardon and | | 6 | | Amanda Sleek in Jacksonville on October 21, 2014; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, Emma Reardon was a joyful little girl who enjoyed | | 8 | | playing Uno with her father and grandmother and playing | | 9 | | Pokemon with her brother; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, Emma Reardon loved doing cartwheels, being at | | 11 | | school with her friends and teacher, playing in the pool with | | 12 | | her brother, nephew, and friends, and dressing up as a | | 13 | | princess; and
| | 14 | | WHEREAS, Emma Reardon is survived by her parents; her | | 15 | | sisters, Mallori (Morgan) Riech and Madison Thomas-Reardon; | | 16 | | her brother, Gavin Marcum; her paternal grandparents, James | | 17 | | and Carla Reardon; her maternal grandparents, Jerry Marcum and | | 18 | | Carole Lance; her nephew, Bextyn Riech; and her niece, | | 19 | | Kalannah Collins; therefore, be it
