AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1982

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1982 as follows:

on page 1, by replacing lines 9 through 12 with the following: "Institution for mental diseases" means a nursing facility meeting the definition of "institution for mental diseases" in 42 CFR 435.1009, as applied by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services."; and

on page 12, by replacing lines 25 and 26 with the following:

"Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on June 30, 2012.".
