1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 27
2     AMENDMENT NO. ___. Amend Senate Joint Resolution 27 by
3 replacing lines 7 through 12 with the following:

4     "RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
6 CONCURRING HEREIN, that the request made by Reavis THSD 300 -
7 Cook with respect to driver education - behind-the-wheel
8 instruction, identified in the report filed by the State Board
9 of Education as request WM100-5409-2, is approved for the
10 substitution of only one hour of behind-the-wheel instruction
11 with 4 hours of range driving and is disapproved for the
12 remaining hour; and be it further

13     RESOLVED, That the request made by Lyons THSD 204 - Cook
14 with respect to driver education - behind-the-wheel
15 instruction, identified in the report filed by the State Board
16 of Education as request WM100-5444, is approved for the

1 substitution of only one hour of behind-the-wheel instruction
2 with 4 hours of supervised, controlled-course driving and is
3 disapproved for the remaining hours; and be it further

4     RESOLVED, That the request made by Moline USD 40 - Rock
5 Island with respect to driver education - behind-the-wheel
6 instruction, identified in the report filed by the State Board
7 of Education as request WM100-5467, is approved for the
8 substitution of only one hour of behind-the-wheel instruction
9 with 4 hours of supervised, controlled-course driving and is
10 disapproved for the remaining hours; and be it further

11     RESOLVED, That each of the school district waiver requests
12 identified below by school district name and by the identifying
13 number and subject area of the waiver request as summarized in
14 the report filed by the State Board of Education are approved
15 to charge a fee not to exceed $250 to students who participate
16 in driver education courses and disapproved for the remainder
17 of the request:
18         (1) Ottawa THSD 140 - LaSalle, WM100-5433, driver
19     education - fee limit;
20         (2) Streator THSD 40 - LaSalle and Livingston,
21     WM100-5408, driver education - fee limit;
22         (3) Morton CUSD 709 - Tazewell, WM100-5414-2, driver
23     education - fee limit;
24         (4) Freeport SD 145 - Stephenson, WM100-5456, driver

2         (5) Warren CUSD 205 - Jo Daviess and Stephenson,
