1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3144
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3144 as follows:

3 on page 3, line 19, by replacing "A licensed truck stop
4 establishment may operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on
5 its premises at any time." with "A licensed truck stop
6 establishment that is located within 3 road miles from a
7 freeway interchange, as defined by the Illinois Department of
8 Transportation in its rules regarding the criteria for the
9 installation of business signs, and that sells at retail more
10 than 50,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel per month may
11 operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on its premises at any
12 time. A licensed truck stop establishment may meet the fuel
13 sales requirement by showing that estimated future sales or
14 past sales average at least 50,000 gallons per month. All other
15 licensed truck stop establishments may operate no more than 5
16 video gaming terminals at any time.".
