AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 780

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 780, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 1, as follows:

on page 1, line 5, after "2.33", by inserting "and by adding Section 1.2k-2"; and

on page 1, immediately below line 5, by inserting the following:

"(520 ILCS 5/1.2k-2 new)

Sec. 1.2k-2. Lead shotshell. "Lead shotshell" means a shotgun cartridge loaded with shot that contains one or more percent lead by weight."; and

on page 11, by replacing lines 12 through 15 with the following: "However, only shotguns not larger than 10 gauge nor smaller than .410 bore loaded with not more than 3 shells of a shot size no larger than lead BB or steel T (.20 diameter) may be used to take species protected by this Act.".
