AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5544

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5544 on page 210, line 17, by replacing "either" with , or within 2 miles of,"; and

on page 210, line 18, by deleting "in"; and

on page 211, line 24, by deleting "an"; and

on page 211, line 25, by inserting "an" after "in"; and

on page 213, by replacing lines 22 through 26 with the following:

"(g) The Agency shall identify in the long-term procurement plan the regional transmission organization or independent transmission system operator to which energy storage systems shall be interconnected in order to be eligible to participate in a procurement of energy storage resources. For procurements in the delivery year 2028 and thereafter, the Agency's allocation of the total energy storage capacity to be procured between or among regional transmission organizations and independent system operators shall be informed by the analysis described in subsection (e).".
