Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process.
Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as
Public
Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the
Guide.
Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes,
statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect.
If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has
not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already
been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes
made to the current law.
(50 ILCS 706/10-25) Sec. 10-25. Reporting. (a) Each law enforcement agency must provide an annual report on the use of officer-worn body cameras to the Board, on or before May 1 of the year. The report shall include:
(1) a brief overview of the makeup of the agency, |
| including the number of officers utilizing officer-worn body cameras;

(2) the number of officer-worn body cameras utilized
|
| by the law enforcement agency;
|
|
(3) any technical issues with the equipment and how
|
| those issues were remedied;
|
|
(4) a brief description of the review process used by
|
| supervisors within the law enforcement agency;
|
|
(5) (blank); and
(6) any other information relevant to the
|
| administration of the program.
|
|
(b) On or before July 30 of each year, the Board must analyze the law enforcement agency reports and provide an annual report to the General Assembly and the Governor.
