SCHAKOWSKY-DART. 10 ILCS 5/9-25.5 new Amends the Election Code. Prohibits a regulated entity from making a contribution to a public official or a candidate for public office. Defines "regulated entity". Provides that a violation is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $5000.
