 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 918
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 918  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 4        "Section  5.  The  Governor's Council on Physical Fitness
 5    and Sports Act is amended by adding Section 8 as follows:
 6        (20 ILCS 3950/8 new)
 7        Sec. 8.   The  Governor's  Physical  Fitness  and  Sports
 8    Council  shall  establish  a  curriculum for a Model Coaches'
 9    Safety Orientation and Training Skills Program.   This  model
10    program  shall  cover  the  medical, legal, and psychological
11    aspects of coaching, as well as  general  coaching  concepts.
12    The  Council  shall  provide  copies  of this curriculum upon
13    request, for a  minimal  fee,  to  non-profit  organizations,
14    municipalities, schools, colleges, and the general public.".
