 1                       SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION
 2        WHEREAS, The State  Board  of  Education  has  filed  its
 3    Spring 1997 Mandate Waiver report, dated April 16, 1997, with
 4    the  General  Assembly  as required by Section 2-3.25g of the
 5    School Code; therefore be it
 6        RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
 7    OF THE  STATE  OF  ILLINOIS,  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES
 8    CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly is encouraged to
 9    act  on  the report within the time frame outlined in Section
10    2-3.25g.
