 1                     AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 134

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  134,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to  page and line numbers of House Amendment
 4    No. 3, on page 1, by replacing  lines  16  and  17  with  "be
 5    frozen  by  the chief county assessment officer at (i) 85% of
 6    the 1999 assessed value of the  property  for  property  that
 7    qualifies  for  the assessment freeze in taxable year 2000 or
 8    (ii) 85% of the  assessed  value  of  the  property  for  the
 9    taxable  year  that  the  property  first  qualifies  for the
10    assessment freeze after taxable year 2000.".
