 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1194

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1194 on page 3,  by
 3    replacing lines 31 and 32 with the following:
 4    "while  on  school  grounds,  that  finding  shall  create  a
 5    presumption  that immediate and urgent necessity exists under
 6    subdivision (2) of Section  5-501  of  this  Act.   Once  the
 7    presumption  of  immediate  and  urgent  necessity  has  been
 8    raised, the burden of demonstrating the lack of immediate and
 9    urgent  necessity  shall  be  on  any  party that is opposing
10    detention for the minor.  Should the  court  order  detention
11    pursuant to this Section, the minor"; and

12    on page 4, by deleting line 1.
