 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3312

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3312 as follows:

 3    on page 1, by replacing line 1 with the following:
 4        "AN ACT to amend the  Illinois  Vehicle  Code  by  adding
 5    Section 3-645."; and

 6    on page 1, by deleting lines 4 through 7; and

 7    on  page  2,  by  replacing  lines  5  through  26  with  the
 8    following:
 9        "(c)  An  applicant  shall  be  charged  a  $15  fee  for
10    original  issuance in addition to the applicable registration
11    fee.   This  additional  fee  shall  be  deposited  into  the
12    Secretary of State  Special  License  Plate  Fund.  For  each
13    registration  renewal  period,  a  $2 fee, in addition to the
14    appropriate registration fee, shall be charged and  shall  be
15    deposited  into  the Secretary of State Special License Plate
16    Fund.".
