 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4039

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 4039,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    by  inserting  immediately  after  the  enacting  clause  the
 4    following:

 5        "Section  2.   The  Department of State Police Law of the
 6    Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is  amended  by  adding
 7    Section 2605-410 as follows:

 8        (20 ILCS 2605/2605-410 new)
 9        Sec.  2605-410.  Grants  for  the  purchase  of videotape
10    equipment.  The Department of State Police shall make  grants
11    available  to  local  law  enforcement agencies, subject to a
12    separate  appropriation,  for  the  purpose   of   purchasing
13    videotape equipment."; and

14    in  the  introductory  clause  of Section 15 by deleting "and
15    Article 106F"; and

16    by deleting all of Article 106F of Section 15.
