SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Trevor Melvin Wehner of Sheridan, who passed away on February 15, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner was born in Aurora to Bonnie Anliker Rich and Tom Wehner on April 22, 1997; he graduated from Serena High School in 2015 and Illinois Valley Community College in 2017, where he played baseball; he then attended Northern Illinois University, where he studied human resources and business; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner loved sports, especially baseball; he made many friends on every team he played on or against; he enjoyed Magic, League of Legends, and World of Warcraft; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner had a smile that would light up the room and was always ready with a silly joke or comment; he was fun-loving and made friends with everyone young and old; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Milly Anliker; and

WHEREAS, Trevor Wehner is survived by his grandparents, Terry Wehner, Shirley Wehner, and Rita Day; his parents and his stepfather, Jim; his brothers, Brian Wehner (Christie Pierce), Brandon Anliker, and Thomas Wehner; his sister, Stephanie Wehner; the love of his life, Winter Lane; his aunts and uncles, Carrie and Glen Kerr, Anne Wehner, and Jay and Lisa Wehner; and numerous cousins and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Trevor Melvin Wehner and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Trevor Wehner as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
