SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Richard "Rick" Repmann II, who passed away on September 28, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Rick Repmann was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Richard "Rich" and Joy (Broadwater) Repmann on April 24, 1975; and

WHEREAS, Rick Repmann had worked as a chef at numerous restaurants; and

WHEREAS, Rick Repmann was full of life and never met a stranger; he could not go anywhere without seeing someone he knew or making new friends; he overcame numerous obstacles in his life and prevailed; he had a great heart and loved his entire family very much; he loved his mama cat more than anything in this world; and

WHEREAS, Rick Repmann was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Repmann, and his brother, Travis; and

WHEREAS, Rick Repmann is survived by his father and stepmother, Rich and Martha Repmann; his sister, Rhonda Miller; his stepsister, Kim Klopfer; his son, Ricky Repmann; his fiance, Mary Hurst, and her daughters, Christina Weiss, Cheryl Hurst, and Jasmine Hurst; his grandchildren, Leela Mae, Izzy, Gavin, Conner, Paisley, and Caroline; and numerous special people in his life, including Pauline Cameron, Danny Wieczorek, Cheri Crider, Steve Landreth, and Nick Graham; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Richard "Rick" Repmann II and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rick Repmann as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
