HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ralph
4Edwin Wilson of Bellevue, who passed away on November 18, 2013;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson was born on December 26, 1932, in
7Beebe, Arkansas; his parents were Jess Earl and Delpha May (nee
8Kelly) Wilson; he married Mary JoAnn Howell on July 11, 1953 in
9Beebe, Arkansas; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson worked at Broderick and Bascom Rope
11Company in Bartonville; he subsequently worked for the Village
12of Bellevue Street Department for over 20 years until his
13retirement in 1997; he was also the owner and operator of Ralph
14Wilson Excavating; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson served as the mayor of the Village of
16Bellevue from 1997 to 2009 and from April of 2013 until his
17passing; he also served on the Bellevue Village Board for 2
18years; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson was a member of the Hiram Walker Club
20in Middle Grove; and

1    WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson enjoyed fishing, camping, and
2spending time with his family; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson was preceded in death by his wife,
4Mary; his parents; his grandson; his great-grandson; and his
5brother; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson is survived by his daughters, Barb
7Pshebelski, Kathy (Vernon) Huff, and Carlene (Daniel) Cook; his
8sons, Edwin (Lurla) Wilson, Don (Jean) Wilson, Mark (Dawn)
9Wilson, Bobby Wilson, and Steve (Jenny) Wilson; his 18
10grandchildren; his 24 great-grandchildren; his brother, Hubert
11Eugene Wilson; and his sister, Mildred Hough; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
13NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
14we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of
15Ralph Edwin Wilson; and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Ralph Wilson as an expression of our
18sympathy.
